Open Letter to the Employees of OEC Group
Dear colleagues,
Over the past year, the world economy has experienced the most severe challenge since the Great Depression. During the severe economic downturn, we are still able to survive and successfully complete our goals. First of all, I truly grateful and appreciate for all the hard works and commitments that you have put into. I know we have all experienced a very stressful year in 2009 and it is by no means easy for us to have come this far. The world economy is beginning to recover, although the process is slow and tortuous. We can now see the light of dawn on the horizon. This is a critical juncture and it is highly significant for all of us in 2010. While the challenges are great, I am convinced that our teams are talented, committed professionals will deliver terrific in coming years. If we all pull together and pledge our total commitment and effort then we will succeed in reaching this important goal.
As the 2010 Lunar New Year is approaches and I would like to share with you in particular my thoughts.
Delight to work
Happiness at work matter, it is the major force that determines whether a person or a business will be successful. We spend a good proportion of time at work. That time will be so much better spent if you¡?re doing a job that actually makes you happy. The higher your job enjoyment, the more effectively you will be in getting things done. One determinedly happy employee can lift the spirits of an entire department. One happy executive can spread a positive mood in the whole organisation. Happy people work better. It¡?s a fact. Business runs better on happiness. Even more, there is an old saying that ¡°Two heads are better than one.¡± Teamwork enhances both individual and corporate performance. You should be to help each other become the best we are capable of. In modern society the competition is so enough, but team spirit can lead us to success. You need to remember that work requires human interaction. Above all, team spirit is an important key to continue our business growth and a good team has a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts with members who have commitment to shared goals.
Ambition, Career Maturity and Responsibility
Even though, OEC Group has now been established for over 28 years and has been fairly stable, well-developed and has reached great heights of success. Nevertheless, can we transcend ourselves to greet Splendid Future?
Emotional intelligence (Emotional Management)
In addition to the major impact of the unprecedented global financial crisis has taken a heavy toll on every one of us. Henceforth, we have to risen up to challenges and dealt with the difficulties with full confidence. After all, we will achieve initial results in our endeavor.
Meanwhile, I propose that you ought to concerted efforts in the following areas: ¡°Ambition in your career, Career Maturity constructs and takes Responsibility¡± to progress your goals and objectives. As we head into 2010 and perhaps it¡?s time to ask yourself that ¡°Is your goal ambitious enough?¡± Can you beat yourself than last year, even better than what you usually do? Yet again, how did you manage and improve your EQ? ¡°Don¡?t limit yourself¡±. As many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.
Furthermore, OEC strive to provide our employees with excellent work environment and encourage every one of you. Moreover, we must "go through brick walls" to achieve our goals and constantly strive to improve our performance in every way. Likewise, we can always be better, and we work continuously to evaluate our performance in order to improve ourselves. Let us work together for a more splendid future.
Let this occasion of 2010 Lunar New Year to be a period of reflection on our past and project to better them the years before us, let us show greater achievements in this year.
