The disruption is only affecting UP’s network. At the moment, re-routing options are limited; however, there are reports that some traffic may be re-routed north through UP’s central corridor. 

UP has not issued any official estimate as to when service will be fully restored, but there are unconfirmed reports that operations may return to normal tomorrow, January 26th, 2023. Therefore, any customer who has any questions or concerns about their freight already in transit should reach out to their dedicated customer service representative.

Also, any customer that was originally going to schedule their freight for this route should contact their logistics advisor to create an alternate plan to employ if necessary.
